We believe that swimming technique, relaxation and balance are the cornerstones of
success.
We teach stroke improvement and general technique using the methodology developed by the legendary Bill Boomer which was subsequently further developed by 'Total Immersion'. We’ve worked with numerous triathletes in the North East and East Midlands and have seen their swimming improve dramatically - one was recently selected for international duties and another has competed at world championship Iron Man level. Our objective is to coach you so that when you climb out of the water you feel in "good nick" and not exhausted - ready to do the real battle on the bike and on the roads. You can join us for a weekend or a week-long Swim Clinic where we will develop your technique, your speed and endurance. We will arrange sessions as far as possible around your holiday and your other training commitments. At SwimSpain we focus on teaching you how to be more efficient whilst swimming so that you will swim faster with less effort.
"We visited SwimSpain for a week’s technique training - it was demanding (2 x 1.5 hr sessions daily). However the effort was well worth it with coaching tailored to our needs encompassing drills and endurance development. Our swimming improved considerably plus we had the opportunity to bike around beautiful countryside on great roads and hills. " CB & AM, Triathletes, London, UK "I hadn't swum for some 10 years and I had started to do triathlons. I knew that my stroke wasn't as good as it should be to compete at a good level. So I took a weekend course - and wished that I'd had that sort of technique-driven coaching when I was an age-group swimmer. " MJ, Triathlete, Aldershot, UK |
