Q What’s the best way of getting to you? A The simplest way is to fly to either Granada (Ryanair currently flies there) or Malaga (BA, Easyjet, Jet2B, etc etc). You can easily hire a car (be aware that some companies operate a "full tank on pick up returned empty on departure" policy which is not to your advantage) but make sure it has aircon. We’ll give you accurate directions to Casa Granado - no-one has got lost yet! We can pick you up from the airport but it would be more cost-effective for you to hire. Q Does it have to be weekend to weekend or are you flexible? A Depending on bookings, we can be as flexible as you want to be Q Do I have to be a tip-top swimmer? A No - even if you can’t swim, we’ll build a programme to suit your needs. We adapt our system to your requirements Q I want to do some serious training as well as improve my technique. Can I do that? A Yes, we’ll build a programme to suit your needs, but it won’t be mindless laps of garbage-yardage. Q I want to do some cycling and road running. Can you sort out routes etc? A We’ll give you some local information about routes etc, but not being tri people, can’t guarantee that it will be exactly what you want. The drop from our casa to Loja 20km away is 1000m! Q Can we chill out around the pool during the day? A Sure, as long as the pool isn’t booked out for other sessions. Q Can we do an early morning session, go visiting and then come back for an evening session? A Yes, we’ll be flexible - within reason. Q Can we do say three days, go off for a week and then come back for say 4 days? A Subject to other bookings, no problem. Q How close are the local shops? A The nearest village is Ventorros de San Jose and that has a small supermarket, two banks and around half a dozen bars, some with restaurants. Loja is the nearest big town with two supermarkets and plenty of shops. But remember, spanish lunch closing is usually 2-5pm, although the major supermarkets in Granada and Malaga are open 10am-8/10pm. Q How can we pay? A Reservation fee of 25% in advance payable by PayPal or via internet banking into our UK bank which is not refundable except under extreme circumstances. The balance, plus a 10% “breakage deposit”, must be paid 4 weeks before the course starts. If there is interest in the same period as you have reserved then we will give you a 7 day opportunity to confirm and pay for your booking before offering it to another party. |
